Medina Oyefusi is the Programmatic and Public Events Manager for Mural Arts Philadelphia: the nation's largest public art program that provides transformative experiences, progressive discourse, and economic stimulus to the City of Philadelphia through participatory public art that beautifies, advocacy that inspires, and educational programming and employment opportunities that empower.
Medina joins the show to talk about the Mural Arts Festival that will take place on Sept. 13th from 2-7pm at “The Oval” (2451 Benjamin Franklin Parkway). This is a free event which includes a day of art, music, and activities with a sneak peek at Mural Arts Month ahead. This family-friendly block party will feature live DJ sets and performances from Interna$hional Bounce, Plantain Party, Tameartz, ThursdayNightGroove, and more.
