Frederick Joseph is a 3-time New York Times Bestseller, who has been recognized with a 2021 International Literacy Association Young Adult Book Award, and was named to the 2019 Forbes 30 Under 30 list for marketing and advertising.
Mr. Joseph is also a philanthropist and activist, who has been honored with a 2023 Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Vanguard Award and the 2018 Bob Clampett Humanitarian Award, and he was selected for the 2018 Root 100, a list of the most influential African Americans.
He joined Dr. Peterson to discuss his 2024 book of poems -We Alive, Beloved; and overall work to create change, help people grow and foster learning and unlearning to lift marginalized people.
