Mike Chioda is one of the most respected and beloved professional wrestling referees of all time - the 'third man in the ring' for iconic #WrestlingWWE moments including The Rock vs Hulk Hogan's 'Icon vs Icon' WrestleMania X8 clash, The Rock vs John Cena's 'Once In A Lifetime' collision at WrestleMania XXVIII, and Kurt Angle and Shane McMahon's death-defying KOTR 2021 collision.

When WWE announced a series of talent cut-backs in April 2020 at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, many were surprised to see Mike Chioda's name on the list, after 35 years with the company.
