Raleigh mayor Janet Cowell says Customs and Border Patrol are in Raleigh. It comes as agents already conducting operations in Charlotte have sparked controversy and fear. A statement from Charlotte-Mecklenburg School officials say 20,935 students were absent from school on Monday. Cowell has emphasized that Raleigh Police don't participate in immigration enforcement.
