Although many of us are serious DIYers – building pergolas and decks around our homes – it’s not likely we’re lumberjacks or loggers by trade – folks who cry “timber” on a regular basis. And yet, that’s exactly who God is calling us to be in the 1st chapter of Haggai – folks whose whole lives are devoted to building of the kingdom by bringing our timber – our time, talents, gifts, service, and witness. Prayerfully, we’re not too pre-occupied with our own homes – to help build God’s house. Hopefully, our whole lives shout timber!"Timber!"  - Rev.
