Finding the Joy. Cecil Canton, CEO and founder of Equalitay Solutions, established the or-ganization as a conflict mediation consulting company. Due to the COVID shutdown he was una-ble to conduct in person workshops and seminars. Believing that he wouldn’t let what he couldn’t do keep him from doing what he could do, he made a hard pivot. Being a teacher at heart, Cecil believes he can teach anything. Prior to teaching Criminal Justice at Sac State, he was a peace officer. He now teaches fire arms training.
