As if to confirm the fears expressed in verse 19 (last time), today’s passage begins with a group of Greeks (Gentiles) who were trying to have an audience with Jesus. We’re not told if their request was granted but Jesus replied with some instruction on the necessity of His own death. We’ll also see that God the Father broke the silence of heaven to encourage His Son in the final days of His mission on earth. And we’ll find that Jesus Himself emphasized again that His time on earth was coming to end after which the Light would no longer be present. Thanks for listening. God bless you!
