To start the new year, we wanted to select a story highlighting what it takes to commit to doing something new and well. Colin is one of the two innovative minds behind Chopt Creative Salad Co. and a longtime fan of Athletic Brewing. At Chopt, their mission is to make healthy eating exciting for all people. This entrepreneurial journey began at a young age when Colin and his college friend, Tony Shure, saw a need for healthier fast food options, and Chopt was born in 2001. What started as a single restaurant in NYC, with Colin working behind the counter serving salads, has grown into nearly 100 locations across the East Coast. Colin recently visited our brewery in Milford, where he could see our operation up close.
