Join the Women in Seed Production Network as we interview Melissa Wienke, Site Lead at a soybean manufacturing plant in Missouri. Her educational background is in occupational safety and health and she began her career in the oil and gas industry. She joined the agricultural industry 5 years ago working in a few different positions and recently moved to her current role. Melissa shares her experience with transitions between different roles and also gives advice on how to advocate for yourself, step outside of your comfort zone, and the importance of setting boundaries.
