Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 17. I will then key in on verse 3 - The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, But the Lord tests the hearts. Friends, becoming a mature Christian takes time. After saying the sinner's prayer it may take months or years to rid yourselves of certain habits that you are used to doing. I will begin today's lesson by reviewing the three points I introduced on yesterday's podcast (#793 - If you didn't get a chance to tune in, I invite you to do so). We will then continue our study of the Book of Ephesians. We will be going over Chapter 5, verses 3-7 today. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:1. People will think of us by the things we do, and the words we speak.2. The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God.3.
