Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley.  Today we will be going over Proverb 20.  I will then key in on verse 7, and the importance of having integrity in your life.  In my view, integrity means that you are the same (and do the same things) whether your boss is watching you or whether you are all alone in your room.  In other words, you are real - and not putting on a show for others.  We will then pick up our story of Joseph in the book of Genesis.  I will review the three points that I had brought up on Thursday's podcast:  1.  Jacob senses that his death is approaching and he wants to put his affairs in order; 2. Joseph made a vow to Jacob in that he would take his body and his bones back to the land of Canaan so that Jacob could be buried with his ancestors; and 3. Jacob demonstrates his faith in that he wants to go back to the land that God had promised would be his land to inherit (as well as all of his ancestors.). I will then go over Genesis Chapter 48: verses 1-15 and bring up the three points for today: 1.  Jacob reverses the order of Joseph's sons and put Ephraim over Manasseh (just as Jacob had been put over Esau many years ago, Jacob puts the younger son (Ephraim over Manasseh); 2.  Jacob reiterates that he had never intended to see Joseph again (as Jacob approaches his death he thinks about his beloved Rachel and how she died giving birth to Benjamin as well as all of the years that he had believed that Joseph had died at the hands of wild animals; and 3.  Joseph receives the double blessing from Jacob (as Jacob puts Joseph's sons on the same level as Jacob's two eldest sons, he gives him the double blessing - a reminder that Joseph is his favorite son.)
