Welcome to Wisdom Today with Bill Kelley. Today we will be going over Proverb 27. I will then key in on verse 6 - Faithful are the wounds of a friend, But the kisses of an enemy are deceitful. Friends, it is better to be corrected by someone we like, admire, trust, etc. than to be buttered up by people who we know do not have our best interests in their heart. On today's podcast I will review the three points from yesterday's lesson. After I do that I will reread the passage of scripture I ended yesterday's podcast with - 1 Peter, Chapter 2:verses 1-9. By the end of today's lesson there are three things I ask that you consider:1. Desire the pure milk of the word.2. Although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful.3. Friends, we need to discern the people around us - and respond accordingly. We can be friendly, and gracious to everyone, but we need to be mindful with who we trust truly personal information with.
