Listen "Veg Chili"
Episode Synopsis
You eat food everyday. But, are you really eating food? I mean food made in the natural environment, or made by some large industrial corporations in some food manufacturing facilities?
In his Netfilx documentary series Cooked, Mike Pollan told us that the food industry has been trying to undermine cooking as an everyday practice. Some people have since lost the knowledge of cooking, that their parents have ever mastered.
If you think you’d better cook at home, because you know what you put into your mouth. I give you a thumbs-up, because that’s the way it should be. Well, you may have heard some vegetarian chili recipes, or meatless chili, or tried some vegan chilli at restaurants. But you have wondered what is a simple chili recipe, or a homemade chili recipe. Today we are not learning to make an ultimate vegan chili, but a veg chili that is healthy, easy to make, and fill half your plate with vegetables for sure. Let’s have a listen together!
Your host Charlie Wang, based in Toronto Canada, is the founder of this podcast show. His father is a stroke survivor.
He started this podcast, because he wanted to help people with the knowledge of healthy food to avoid what had happened to his father and his friend. He hopes you will all be healthy, and have healthy relationships and better lives because you and your family are all physically healthy, and eating better.
Feel free to post what you would like him NOT to talk about, and what you cooked yesterday. Or email to [email protected].
