In Episode 129 I talk about the difference between chronic "little t" nervous system triggering and how a "big T" trigger can be the catalyst we need to wake us up to the fact that we've been triggered without realizing it. We also discuss the energetic pattern of each of the sympathetic states: fight, flight, freeze and faun, and how oxytocin breathing and my 3 step process for grounding and protection can help us step out of any of those triggered states. My dogs make several appearances to demonstrate fight, flight, freeze and "big T" triggering. This meditation is a journey from stress to ease through the 3 steps of grounding: calling your energy home, sending it down into the Earth, and opening & expanding to the energy of unconditional love.
