In Part One of a Two Part podcast Greg chats with Kieran McGeary, CEO of Cork's 96FM and C103 about the true love of his life. radio! A fascination for radio, those fascinating voices from different places around the world led to this 8 year old practicing his DJ skills with the family stereo as each single played one after the other. A first role with a small pirate station in Waterford, 'Crystal Radio' at the age of just 15 led to studies in the UK and eventually roles with various BBC regional stations and independent stations including GM of 'The Wolf' in Wolverhampton. He returned to Waterford to set up Ireland's first ever youth station, Beat 102-103 in 2003.
