Listen "Alan Foley, a lifetime of dancing in the Real Capital of Ballet!"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode Greg chats with Alan Foley, Founder and Artistic Director of Cork City Ballet. The young dancer, inspired by Fame and Flashdance found his way to the Cork Ballet School, run by the renowned Joan Denise Moriarty and he thrived under her strict regime. He gives us a fantastic insight into this special woman, who he clearly adored. His career brought him to London, New York and Russia and back to Ireland where he founded his own ballet company, which is still thriving. Major heart surgery at the age of just 39 ended his dancing career but he still teaches, inspires and produces spectacular shows each year. Enjoy the show! This show has been brought to you by Fuzion Communications, a Marketing, PR, Graphic Design and Digital Marketing Agency in Ireland with offices in Dublin and Cork. The show is produced by Greg Canty
