Listen "Viking Women Warriors"
Episode Synopsis
We're joined by Kim to talk about another history of female warriors. This one is full of myths, legends and of course controversies. While I was writing these notes, I decided to look back at other episodes we've recorded female fighters in history. Our first one was back in 2020, where we were introduced to 2 Japanese women fighters. Here's the link:https://www.buzzsprout.com/477379/episodes/3227506There have been quite a few episodes. I especially like this one we did on women defending themselves at the turn of the 19th to the 20th century. Here's that link:https://www.buzzsprout.com/477379/episodes/5247724At the end of this episode, we hear a listener mail from Hanshi Tracy Seymour - a modern female warrior. Here's her interview:https://www.buzzsprout.com/477379/episodes/16424997Thanks for listening and check out the link below to support the work that goes into these episodes. You're all awesome.
