Listen "024 | Nothing Magically Changes on January 1st"
Episode Synopsis
As we approach the new year, I want to encourage you and remind you that nothing magically changes on January 1st. In today’s episode, I walk you through a process of reflection and action planning to approach 2023 with intentionality. The thing is… this is the same advice I’d give you whether it was April or September or anytime throughout the year. You’re the same person on the first day of January as you are on the last day of December. You don’t need a fresh new year to wake up and decide to make changes to your life. BUT, since this topic is fresh on everyone’s mind, I’ll share my two cents on setting intentions for the new year! In this episode, we cover: Things to consider: What are you most proud of from 2022? Every win - big and small - deserves celebrating What do you want to carry into the new year? What would you like to create more of in the coming year? What do you need to release? Steps to take: Once you’ve identified the above things, write them down as if they’re already true Narrow down your list to top 5 or top 10 - too many things to focus on at once is overwhelming! What habits or baby steps could you start to get you closer to your goal? Make an action plan Resources & Links: Join us at the ASCEND Retreat!
