Tanna Frederick is the star of the award-winning film TWO WAYS HOME. She plays Kathy, a women newly diagnosed with bipolar disorder who is released from prison on good behavior and returns to her country home in Iowa to reconnect with her estranged 12-year-old daughter and her cantankerous elderly grandfather. In this podcast Tanna reveals that she has a lot of personal connections to her character. She has dealt with clinical depression, and her parents also have been involved in the world of mental health, including working with the organization National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI).
