In this episode of "What's Our History?" we will be discussing what makes a group organized, and how our leaders utilize terms like "extremist" or "threat" to push their own agendas. We will also be discussing the history of how extremist groups have undermined movements for social change, as well as the history of using the idea of the “outside agitator” to undermine movements. We welcome outside perspective from President Nixon, Vice President Gore, Professor Peniel Joseph, Anais Aboab, and Graeme Lauterbach-Mason.
