Serial entrepreneur doesn’t begin to explain Antoinette Apolon. She’s been finding creative ways to make money since she was a kid. She put in the time and even went to an arts high school. Her overall goal was to use her talents to support her family. What she found after finding the love of her life and having her first child, was that she has many talents outside of music. While she was pursuing music, she found many different ways to support herself and her family. For instance, she’d sell baked goods to her colleagues and customers while working at her restaurant job. She knew how to make money and that’s what she did. After realizing that corporate was not for her, she began dabbling in real estate with her brother. She later purchased her very own plot of land at auction and sold it for more than double what she paid. That was it. She was hooked. During this same time she was repairing her credit and had many different family members and friends asking her to do the same for them. Another business was formed. She has some amazing tips for aspiring entrepreneurs. First, just do it. Nothing will ever be perfect. Don’t let that stop you from starting.
