Listen "Cutting in the Confidence with Joshua Santiago"
Episode Synopsis
One of the goals of this podcast is to share the stories of people in all different places of life. Joshua Santiago started his journey in life in a very rough situation. Listen as he shares his story and why he’s cutting in the confidence for so many around the nation. Joshua comes from a family who have been entrenched in addiction and abuse. Rather than feeling loved and supported in his early years, he felt abandoned and unwanted. School was not the sanctuary it could have been and instead he started running in crowds that were doing some really bad things. He dropped out of high school and soon found himself on the wrong end of the law. He had just received his diploma and was on his way to lock up. Rather than letting that defeat him, he went to school to become a barber and found a new lease on life. When he was denied his barber’s license, he could have given up, but instead he leaned into his ultimate passion. He created a non-profit to help serve the homeless and underprivileged in his and other neighborhoods. Joshua has had quite a life so far, but what rings most true is his passion to help those who are much less fortunate than he. He is generating real change in the world.
