Today on What's My Frame I'm joined by Casting Director, Amber Horn.

Amber is a two-time Emmy winning casting director with a clear heart for actors. Today Amber and I go inside the casting office to discuss her process and advice for actors. Amber shares her experiences in the positive evolution towards authenticity in casting; how powerful it is for especially young performers to see themselves on screen. Amber shares encouraging reframing towards zoom and virtual auditions for actors that I personally will be taking into my next virtual appt. 

Amber and her casting partner, Danielle immediately made a splash in the entertainment industry when they opened their office Aufiero / Horn Casting. Their longstanding relationships with studios, production companies, and directors have allowed them to cast for a variety of projects. With over 75 feature, pilots and series collectively; the pair have earned multiple Emmys and Artios Awards for their work. With credits like THE 100, ANDI MACK, AWKWARD, THE BABY-SITTERS CLUB & LEO.
