Listen "22. Listening, Learning, and Understanding with Amy King"
Episode Synopsis
Welcome to Season 3! On this episode of the podcast, me and Amy King are talking about listening, learning, and understanding when it comes to racial discrimination and reconciliation. We invite you into this conversation with us, all are welcome. We acknowledge that we will make mistakes along the way as we actively speak out against racism. We are learning and in that process things won't always come out exactly right. We ask for your grace. We know that we have no option but to speak out, it is ignited on our hearts to do so. Jesus went straight to the hurting, oppressed, and marginalized. He did not pause or ask questions first. He went. A quote that Amy shared from her most recent blog post sums up quite well what we talk about in this episode; "Where there are people suffering, God is there. As God's people, we need to be there too." Join us as we talk about the necessity and significance of listening, learning, and understanding. Much love, friends.
