He consistently notes the difference between speaking wholesome words and those which are perverse. Solomon connects the words we use with our heart and mind which is where all words come from, whether good or evil. We continue to find passages in Proverbs that note the problem with lying and we discuss several of them. Jesus was very specific about swearing and we also consider what He said about that. Not surprisingly, Jesus mentioned hypocrites and we talk about what He said on that subject. Paul also had a good bit to say about the conversation of the Christians in his day. We note his guidance.
