We also point out the purpose of that baptism.  We continue by talking about the grace of Jesus Christ, God's grace, the Lord's longsuffering, and God's mercy relating to salvation. We talk about God's eternal purpose in saving people and the fact that it was His will to do so.  We look at one of God's promises relating to this issue. We end this episode by noting a number of other things that are associated with Christ that saves us, namely, the name of Christ, His sacrificial death and His atoning blood, which we will also begin the next episode with.
