Listen "What Does the Bible Say About What Hinders Prayer?"
Episode Synopsis
Send us a textArnie begins by noticing that the Bible tells us to examine ourselves. It is up to each individual to do a self-examination to see if one is obeying what God says. No one else can do this examination for them. As we introduce this discussion, we note that the Bible says that our sins separate us from God according to Isaiah. We then talk about the necessity of obeying the gospel in order to be in fellowship with God which makes it possible for our prayers to be heard by Him. We look at a number of Bible passages that tell us what we need to do in this regard. We move on to a discussion about forgiveness and how important it is to be a forgiving person. We complete this episode by talking about the necessity of being patient. We ask a number of questions that one can use in their self-examination. Take about 30-minutes to listen in on our discussion. Have your Bible handy so you can verify what we are saying. There is a transcript provided of this Buzzsprout episode for your convenience.
