We then note that one of the purposes of Christ's coming to earth and returning to heaven was to reign as king. The Bible says that His crucifixion did not prevent this, as many seem to believe.  We also look at the passages that teach that there is only one time of a resurrection for all people, both good and evil and only one judgment for them. We talk about God's foreknowledge and the fact that Jesus' foes would attempt to defeat His plan to save men. But He promised to defeat them and make Jesus King.
