Send us a textIn this second episode on responsible Christians, Arnie and Fred continue their discussion of whether we manage our resources carefully in serving the Lord. One's giving on the first day of the week is often a reliable indicator. We need to remember that our resources really belong to the Lord. Next, we look at the fact that each Christian has a responsibility to teach others. Jesus gave this responsibility to us which requires us to cultivate this ability in the ways the Bible tells us. These abilities ultimately are required for one to become an elder, deacon or even the wives of these men.  We talk about what every individual Christian must do to prepare to serve the Lord better as they get older. We move to the need for family guidance. We note that the home is the training ground to learn the various spiritual needs each Christian has. The next generation of leaders in the church obtain their basic training in the family. We complete this episode by beginning our discussion about self-control and the fact that both one's words and deeds are windows into the soul. We will complete this discussion in the next episode.
