We note that gossip impacts other people, and many times harms their reputation, and we note that the Bible identifies gossip as a sin. It mentions gossipy women and by extension, men. We look at a portion of Moses' Law that prohibits gossip. There are 23 evil behaviors listed in Romans 1:28-32. Among them are two behaviors related to this subject. We look at them. The Bible teaches that we are to edify, or build up one another.  But the result of gossip is far different from that as we note. This is not a new problem as we find out when we look at several passages by James and Paul. We end this episode by looking at a number of the wise sayings that are found in the book of Proverbs relating to this subject.
