In our last episode we noted that the Bible listed several Christians who had fallen away, contrary to what a number of churches teach. We begin by noting that studying the word of truth regularly goes far to keep one faithful. We look at a number of passages that provide that guidance to us. There is a passage that specifically discusses assembling with the saints. We talk about this passage to see why this is so important. Our spiritual development is necessary to keep us from falling away and the passages that teach that are the subject of our next discussion. Prayer is mentioned as necessary in a number of scriptures and we look at them. The way we think goes a long way to keep us from falling away and there are passages that reveal the importance of our thinking righteous thoughts. We complete this episode by discussing these.
