Listen "Episode 6.14: The Book of Romans (1:6)"
Episode Synopsis
WCSK series six is an expositional verse-by-verse study of the book of Romans. In this episode, Reverend Sadaphal makes plain a doctrine that many Christians struggle with: limited atonement, also known as definite redemption or definite atonement. God is sovereign, so He is in complete control of salvation. Therefore, by design, Jesus did not die for everyone just to make salvation possible—He died specifically for a definite people that God predestined for redemption. This lesson begins in Romans 1:6 but points to Romans chapter 9 where the apostle Paul expounds this doctrine fully.
