I had the privilege of sitting down with Mateus, a Brazilian, about tourism in Brazil. Why is it so under appreciated, why is it so underrated, and what makes it so great. After my first few days in Brazil, I started venturing out from just São Paulo and Rio. Mateus was one my first friends I made in Brazil, and after my time in Florianopolis, I discovered Pipa, Fernando de Noronha, Jericoacoara, Goias, to name a few. Mateus also travels internationally frequently, and he gives his insights on tourism in Brazil from the perspective of a Brazilian.
