That can lead to misunderstanding what God is doing and saying. Pastor Lucas Chance give us some key strategies to overcome challenges and stay motivated during the summer Bible reading initiative:1. Don't feel guilty if you miss reading or can't complete the entire daily reading. There are no merit badges or heavenly rewards for perfect completion.2. Approach the reading with the right perspective:- Look for God's love and freedom in the text- Try to understand the deeper principles behind the scriptures- Be open to learning and potentially discovering new insights3. Recognize that reading the Bible is a discipline and can be challenging. It's normal to find it difficult to read for an hour each day.4. Use available resources like audio Bibles if traditional reading is challenging.5. Remember the goal is not just to complete a reading challenge, but to grow in understanding of God's nature and principles.6. Be patient with yourself and view this as an opportunity for spiritual growth, not a strict obligation.7. Consider finding an accountability partner or joining a group study to help maintain motivation and discuss what you're learning.The key is to approach the "summer shred" with curiosity, grace, and a desire to understand God more deeply.
