In John 5, Jesus heals a man who had suffered for thirty-eight years. When questioned, the man cannot explain what happened. He only knows that everything changed. Jesus later says, My Father is always at His work to this very day, and I too am working (John 5:17).On this Sunday's episode, we’ll be reminded that God is never inactive. Even when we cannot see it, His providence is unfolding. Christ’s work is not limited to the miraculous but includes sustaining grace in the ordinary.Take time to reflect: Do I trust God is working, even when I cannot trace His hand? Let us rest in the truth that the Father and Son are always at work for His glory and our good.
