Filmmaker friends, we are thrilled to introduce you to Allison Moy Hayhurst, producer with Evening Squire Productions. In this week’s episode, we’re going to open up the can of worms that is producing. What is a Producer? What do Producers do? And when does your project need a Producer? We hope to answer all of these questions, and luckily, we have Allison here to help us make sense of it all.Allison Moy Hayhurst is a southern-raised Chinese American NY-based producer, writer, and puppeteer. Most recently, she produced her first feature film, "And Through the Portal We Go", which premiered in 2024 and has already won multiple awards, including Best Feature, Best Actor, and Best Acting Ensemble. She is a co-founder of Evening Squire Productions and has been instrumental in the production and writing of their myriad of award-winning short films.
