In this week's solo episode, I contemplate our ability to have authentic conversations about the divisive nature of the news and the complex issues we're facing in our country and our world right now. By way of an example, I describe an interesting and challenging conversation I had on an airplane recently. The person was willing to share his passionate and very different political views with me. What if we took time to listen to each other's views without self-righteousness?
