Listen "Faithful Father"
Episode Synopsis
How do you learn to trust a father when so many childhood moments were shaped by pain and anger? In this episode, I talk about the many father figures who have shaped my life. Growing up with an angry father deeply influenced how I understood both authority and love, leaving wounds that followed me into adulthood. Thankfully, over time, God has patiently and faithfully reshaped my heart, meeting me even in my darkest moments with steady grace. I have been deeply grateful to witness healthier models of fatherhood through my grandfathers, my father-in-law and my husband, who showed me consistency, gentleness, and genuine care. Their examples challenged what I once believed fatherhood had to be and helped bring healing to places I didn’t realise were still hurting. The Bible continually reminds me that God Himself is the truest and best Father. He not only creates us, but lovingly chooses and adopts us (Ephesians 1:5).Silver Lining: The Story of Summer, Snow and Skywww.amazon.com.au/Silver-Lining-Story-Summer-Snow/dp/1664221743https://koorong.com/product/silver-lining-the-story-of-summer-snow-and_9781664221741www.amazon.com.au/Silver-Lining-Story-Summer-Snow-ebook/dp/B097T1T7L9Music - Princesshttps://music.apple.com/au/album/princess/1115528985?i=1115529458
