"We've always been anti-industry," Danse says when talking about his song "Fuck Fader," an incendiary blast at the pay-for-play tactics some media outlets employ. The song and subsequent campaign, ironically, has led to more media coverage and placements, but the attitude of Danse and his BKLYN Stickup partner Busy remain the same - forget the industry. This independent mindstate has led to BET and MTV placements, a strong following, and the respect of fellow artists and writers.
