Send us a textWednesday Wisdom 7/12/2023This week I re-read the book Man's search for meaning , by Viktor E. Frankel as part of our assigned reading for the EPM executive team. This was the 2nd time I read this book and it's interesting how depending where you are in life you see things differently. As I reached the 3rd section of the book I was surprised to learn that it was all about Saying Yes to life. For those of you that have followed me for years, you are aware that in 2020, I started my Say Yes Everyday book series and when I launched this I received mixed reviews, because some people interpreted my teachings as a message to say yes to everything. resulting in being overwhelmed, but that isn't the lesson at all. It is actually based off Saying Yes to life. To realizing that every day we wake up we receive the opportunity to serve and positively affect others and the world. So, when I learned about Victor Frankel's chapter and book that shares that so many times we search for happiness, but happiness can not be pursued, it must ensue. One must have a reason to be happy, a purpose, a meaning and once the reason is found, one becomes happy automatically.
