Listen "Inglourious Basterds - SHANNON’S LIST: Quentin Changes History, But Is Shannon A Fan Of It?"
Episode Synopsis
“You probably heard we ain't in the prisoner-takin' business; we in the killin' Nazi business. And cousin, business is a-boomin'.” Shannon takes another trip down Tarantino lane and we get her reaction to the film nerd’s prodigy and his 6th film made for the screen, which he spent almost a decade working on the script. While this film is only 30 percent in english, we get to know how Shannon feels about this period film about killing Nazi’s. Fun fact: This is the first Quentin Tarantino film to win an Oscar for acting and that went to the brilliant Christoph Waltz for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Imdb shares a quick synopsis of the film: “In Nazi-occupied France during World War II, a plan to assassinate Nazi leaders by a group of Jewish U.S. soldiers coincides with a theatre owner's vengeful plans for the same.” We have all had plenty of time to see this movie, but we understand Sahnnon’s excuse. Tune in, and get to know her thoughts on yet another Quentin Tarantino film on today's installment of Shannon’s List. - INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS - WRITTEN & DIRECTED BYQuentin Tarantino STARRINGBrad PittMélanie LaurentChristoph WaltzEli RothMichael FassbenderDiane KrugerDaniel BrühlTil SchweigerGedeon BurkhardJacky IdoB.J.
