Top Takeaways:

Water utilities and local universities and college need to partner to ensure students receive the hands-on experience necessary to spark interest in joining the water industry.
Telling water’s story through the lens of your audience and in a language they understand is the only way to build trust and buy-in, whether it’s a room full of students or the general public.
Increased rates are inevitable. If we’re going to ask that people pay the true cost of water we have to be willing to be transparent and upfront about what they’re paying for. We have to demonstrate the value of water every single day.
