I had an amazing conversation with Ryan and Alisa Nakken of Woodland, California. When we sat down on a windy day during Shavuot in Orosi, California, Ryan was absolutely new to faith and Alisa had very minimal church exposure. By their own admission, they had lived their lives as “heathens”, and had no idea what people were talking about in 2020 when biblical and apocalyptic conspiracy theories were tearing through the country like a virus.
