While both of them grew up in the same household, they both remember different things and of course their feelings of expression may differ. Gam is the oldest of the two and Juan is married with two boys. Juan states that “he forgive his father about five years ago and you can’t make someone be something they don’t want to be”. Gam feels that before “they can start a relationship that her father must apologize and they can move forward to try and build a relationship”. Juan is more reserved and thinks on the perspective from a logical standpoint however; Gam is more emotional and feels some type. Juan does state that “he wish has father at least has a relationship with his boys but that has yet to happen as he oldest is 15”. Juan also felt that because his father wasn’t in his life is the reason why he knew that he wanted different for his kids. They both continue to express the feelings about this issue as it is very common around the world.
