Vanita is the Executive Producer of the Netflix Original Documentary, Rooting For Roona, which premiered in October of 2020. She has led conversations at the United Nations and Global CSR summits. Prior to launching VALO, Vanita served as the Chief Development Executive for Girl Scouts of the USA, where she designed and executed the $1B ToGetHerThere campaign for girl leadership - the largest in US history. The FBI honored Vanita with a Service Award showcasing leaders in Public Service and Government. Vanita holds a MS in Counseling Psychology and a PhD in Sociology.
