Episode Synopsis

Today’s episode features Isioma Odum who grew up in Vancouver, Washington surrounded by evergreen trees. Her father is the former Director of the Department of Ecology for Washington state, which is where her passion for all things environmental stems from.
She received her BA in Social Science concentrating in Sociology and Psychology from Washington State University, and an MA in Social Justice from Loyola University Chicago’s Institute of Pastoral Studies. During her graduate program, she was an Intern Facilitator at the Brother David Darst Center. Prior to that, she worked for the Health Justice Project and was involved in the Initiative to Amend Lead-Based Paint Poisoning in Federal Homes.
Isioma joined Faith in Place as the Bronzeville Outreach Coordinator May 2018. Now she serves the organization as the Energy & Climate Change Coordinator.
