This Voices from the Mountain message, drawn from Numbers 10:29–32, carried the theme “Why Don’t You Just Join Us.” The sermon reminded listeners that the Christian life is a journey, much like Israel’s wilderness trek, full of valleys, mountains, battles, and blessings. Moses invited Hobab to join the people of God on their way to the promised land, promising that the goodness of the Lord would be shared with him too. In the same way, believers today are called to endure, to stick with the faith through hardship, and to rejoice when God reveals something new along the way. The message emphasized that quitting when trials come only leads back to sorrow, while pressing forward brings hope, protection, and fellowship. The preacher urged listeners to “load up and go with us,” lifting the banner of Christ high, blowing the trumpet in times of need and in times of gladness, and continuing steadfastly until the journey ends in the city prepared by God
