Sometimes we have to go through the dark to find the light.  And it can be hard and ugly.  Jessica found God in a very difficult time in her life.  She knew He was there in her midst but it took some time for her to commit her life to Him and turn away from her sins.   My granddaughter sent me this scripture this morning and I think it fits in well with this.  1 John 1 6-7  "If we claim that we experience a shared life with Him and continuer to stumble around in the dark, we're  obviously lying through our teeth- we're not living what we claim.  But if we walk in the light, we also experience a shared life with one another, as the sacrificed blood of Jesus, God's Son, purges all our sins"  Breaking the chains of addiction and alcohol! If you have an addiction.  Struggling to put it down or remove yourself from the influences around you. Reach out to me or to someone who can help you break the chains.  I would love to send you a bible devotional.  Pray with you.  It is when we put ourselves in God's space and open our hearts to His words we become new.
