Listen "Lena Paige on Crystal Starnes Show"
Episode Synopsis
For country music artist Lena Paige, music is a family affair. With a professional songwriter and performer for a mother and her great uncle being Merle Travis, Lena’s childhood was steeped in music. First taking an interest in singing at the age of five and songwriting at fifteen, Lena has spent her whole life writing, working as a session singer, and touring with regional and international artists. Determined to preserve the songs she grew up with after her mother left the music industry, Lena joined forces with renowned producer Kent Wells to make good on her dreams of completing a family collection of Traditional Country songs. Her first single, “Roses In December” rose to #6 in the Top 10 Country Songs of 2020 in Europe and her second single, “Joan of Arkansas” a duet with Tanya Tucker, charted on Music Row in 2022. Her new single, “Civil War” was originally recorded by Ronnie Milsap. Ronnie’s daughter-in-law approached Lena and asked her to cut the song. It was a perfect match! Her next album “Singin’ In The Key of Country” is coming soon! Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/voice-for-victims--5798041/support.
