Martin is a Chief Technologist for VMware Cloud Services and John leads a solution architect team chartered with helping customers build and run multi-cloud environments across the data center, the edge, managed service providers, and public clouds such as AWS, Azure and Google. On this podcast, David and Eric talk with Martin and John about multi-cloud reference architectures that they are creating. John’s team has created 9 reference architectures that help customers create hybrid clouds using VMware Cloud Foundation technologies on-premise and on AWS. His team is now working on expanding this work to also cover Azure and Google. Martin has written two detailed technical guides (reference architectures and best practices) that highlight how to effectively deploy VMware technologies in a Managed Service Provider and also on AWS. Much of the work in both of these guides are directly applicable to private cloud scenarios as well
